Shanghai is going through a major Covid-19 outbreak, the biggest flareup China has had to deal with during the pandemic. On Sunday, Shanghai reported the first deaths since the start of lockdown. Three people, aged between 89 and 91, with underlying diseases, died on Sunday, according to Shanghai’s municipal government.
