On April 14, 2022, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor became husband and wife. The couple got married in the presence of family and friends. The marriage ceremony took place at Vastu, Ranbir Kapoor’s residence in Mumbai. The much talked about wedding did not take place at a fancy location with lavish decoration and many guests. All the wedding festivities took place at Vastu with limited guests. The wedding festivities started with a puja. It was followed by the mehendi function. Alia Bhatt took to social media to share dreamy pictures from the mehendi ceremony. The couple looked extremely happy as the groom danced with his mom Neetu Kapoor and sisters. Ranbir even wrote Alia on his hand with mehendi. After the wedding, an after party was held where the guest list was long as many celebs were spotted entering Vastu. Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Gauri Khan were present for the party. Reportedly, even Shah Rukh Khan attended the party. Ranbir’s sisters Riddhima Kapoor & Karisma and Kareena Kapoor looked happy and lovely during all the ceremonies. Ranbir’s aunt Rima Jain, cousins Aadar and Armaan Jain were also part of the festivities. Alia Bhatt’s father Mahesh Bhatt, mother Soni Razdan, sisters Pooja Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt and brother Rahul Bhatt were all part of the celebrations. Ranbir and Alia’s close friend Ayan Mukerji was also present for all the functions. Karan Johar, with whom Alia shares a special bond, was also present for all the festivities
