Multiple residents were trapped when a six-storey building collapsed on April 29, 2022, in Changsha, a city in central China’s Hunan province. Footage shows a cloud of dust cloaking the streets after the building near the Changsha Medical University collapsed. The 800-square-metre structure consisted mostly of residential units, but it also had a restaurant on the second floor and a cinema on the third.
