Little is known about Jackie Souder & His Orchestra, led by trombonist Souder. They played at the Olympic Hotel in Seattle in the mid-twenties. Al Rinker and Bing Crosby performed briefly with the Souder Orchestra in 1925. The vocal is by Walter Hawkins (also playing clarinet and saxophones) and Walton McKinney. Further personnel included: Irvin Antes, piano; Billy Barrett, violin; Steve Barrett, drums; Blaine Boyden and Shermin Herrick, trumpet; Clarence Cummins and George Shelton, clarinet and saxophones; Forrest Hart, banjo, guitar, as well as Walt Haines, bass brass and bass. Recording was made in the late 20's.
