Reportedly, Trudeau was given a tour of the suburb that was severely damaged by Russian forces. On May 7, US first lady Jill Biden met a group of Ukrainian refugee mothers and educators in the Romanian capital of Bucharest. As reported by AFP, nearly 9,10,000 Ukrainians have fled to Romania since Russia launched its invasion. Jill Biden tweeted a lovely picture and said, “On this Mother’s Day, my heart is with you, First Lady Olena Zelenska, and all of the brave and resilient mothers of Ukraine.” Watch the video to know more.
