All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi on May 14the "silence" of Congress party on the video survey of the Gyanvapi Masjid complex in Varanasi, alleging that they are keeping mum because Muslims are not their vote bank.

“Why Congress is not saying anything about the Gyanvapi Masjid case? It must speak about it for the sake of law. The party broke its silence today because leaders knew they would land in trouble if they stay mute for long. Why are Congress leaders scared to comment on hijab issue?,” he said.
