आज Buddha Purnima है और इसी दिन साल का पहला lunar eclipse लगने जा रहा है, हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार, चंद्रग्रहण सुबह 08 बजकर 59 मिनट से लेकर 10 बजकर 23 मिनट तक रहेगा। चंद्र ग्रहण एक महत्वपूर्ण खगोलीय घटना है। जब चंद्रमा पर पृथ्वी की छाया पड़ने लगती है तो इसी स्थिति को चंद्र ग्रहण कहते हैं। आज चंद्रमा लाल रंग में नजर आएगा। जिसे ब्लड मून कहा जाता है। वैज्ञानिक व धार्मिक दृष्टि से चंद्रग्रहण अहम घटना होती है। चंद्रग्रहण पर जब चंद्रमा पूर्ण ग्रहण युक्त होता है तो ब्लड मून दिखता है।
