Many villages of Assam have been flooded with water. The condition of two villages of Jamunamukh district has become very bad. You can guess from this that more than 500 families of both the villages are living their life on the railway track to escape from the flood water. About 7.12 lakh people are in the grip of flood in 29 districts of the state. In Nagaon district alone, more than 3.5 lakh people have been affected, while about 1.5 lakh people have been affected in Cachar district, more than 1 lakh in Hojai and 52,709 in Darang district.

असम के कई गांवों में पानी भर चुका है. जमुनामुख जिले के दो गांवों की हालत बेहद खराब हो चुकी है. आप इसी बात से अंदाजा लगा लीजिए कि, दोनों गांव के करीब 500 से अधिक परिवार बाढ़ के पानी से बचने के लिए रेलवे ट्रैक पर अपनी जिंदगी गुजार रहे हैं.राज्य के 29 जिलों में करीब 7.12 लाख लोग बाढ़ की चपेट में हैं. अकेले नगांव जिले में करीब साढ़े 3 लाख से अधिक लोग प्रभावित हुए हैं, जबकि कछार जिले में करीब डेढ़ लाख, होजई में 1 लाख से ज्यादा और दरांग जिले में 52,709 लोग प्रभावित हुए हैं.
