As the contestants entered MasterChef kitchen, Jock and Andy welcomed them by letting them picked a number to choose what letter in the Alphabet would they want to open as their mystery box because their challenge is what they called Alphabet Mystery Box. The contestants had to each choose a letter of the alphabet revealing a mystery ingredient starting with that letter.
