An alligator got loose onto a racetrack in Louisiana, spooking one of the racehorses in the process.

‘The gator just showed up on the track, but it’s in South Louisiana where gators are very common,’ Joseph Bryant Allen, who took the footage, told Storyful.

Another Twitter user joked that gator sightings are a ‘regular occurrence’ at the track.
