After the violence in Kanpur last Friday, now before Friday prayers, the Home Department has imposed Section 144 in the city from the evening of June 9. At the same time, police teams have been kept on high alert. Today there will be a ban on any kind of dharna or demonstration in the city. Police will be deployed throughout the city and strict action will be taken to prevent any kind of violence.

कानपुर में पिछले शुक्रवार हुई हिंसा के बाद अब जुमे की नमाज से पहले गृह विभाग ने शहर में 9 जून की शाम से ही धारा 144 लागू कर दी है. वहीं पुलिस की टीमों को हाई अलर्ट पर रखा गया है. आज शहर में किसी भी तरह के धरना या प्रदर्शन पर रोक रहेगी. पूरे शहर में पुलिस तैनात रहेगी और किसी भी तरह की हिंसा को रोकने के लिए सख्ती से कार्रवाई की जाएगी.
