Serial entrepreneur Henry Camp, CEO of Idea LLC, and one of the most prominent experts of the Theory Of Constraints talks to Philip Marris about his work with a very famous sports apparel brand who had a problem with shortages in their high street shops.
And as usual Henry's storytelling skills contribute to getting the message across.
It emerged that shortages affected the would-be fast movers and resulted in tremendous lost sales. They had too many items of apparel they did not need and too few of what the customers really wanted. Increasing the availability of the products thanks to the Theory of Constraints and a better replenishment system INCREASED SALES BY 100%, a result that astonished everybody, even Henry Camp!
