Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered the police to deal strictly with the 'anti-social elements' following violent protests in the state over the remarks made by the now suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma on Prophet Muhammad.

The UP CM also said that those who violate the law and order will be dealt with a firm hand.

The UP CM, in a meeting with top police officials, reviewed the situation in the state.
