Energy operator warns of shortfalls in QLD, NSW tonight

The energy market regulator has put retailers and producers on notice about gaming the system during the current crisis. The operator has been forced to cap wholesale power prices across Eastern Australia and is demanding energy producers continue pumping more power into the system even if they're operating at a loss.
