Severe waterlogging continued in different parts of Guwahati as a result of incessant rains in the past few days. As many as nine more persons died in Assam due to the flood. Fresh deaths took the overall toll to 54, informed to Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) on June 17.
