For the past decade, the Yarra Ranges Shire Council has been planning a massive new mountain bike park around Warburton. Located 80 kilometres east of Melbourne, the network would cut through part of the Yarra Ranges national park to the north of town, with the bulk of the trails winding through state forest to the south.
