हर साल 'जगन्नाथ रथ यात्रा' धूमधाम से निकाली जाती है जिसमें शामिल होने देश-दुनिया के कोने-कोने से लोग आते हैं. जगन्नाथ मंदिर ओडिशा के पुरी शहर में स्थित है. यह वैष्णव मंदिर श्रीहरि के पूर्ण अवतार श्रीकृष्ण को समर्पित है. पूरे साल इनकी पूजा मंदिर के गर्भगृह में होती है, लेकिन आषाढ़ माह में तीन किलोमीटर की अलौकिक रथ यात्रा के जरिए इन्हें गुंडिचा मंदिर लाया जाता है.

Every year 'Jagannath Rath Yatra' is taken out with pomp, in which people from all corners of the country and the world come to participate. Jagannath Temple is located in the city of Puri, Odisha. This Vaishnava temple is dedicated to Shri Krishna, the complete incarnation of Shri Hari. They are worshiped throughout the year in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, but in the month of Ashadha they are brought to the Gundicha temple through a three kilometer supernatural chariot journey.
