The monsoon session of the Delhi Legislative Assembly began on Monday. During this, a bill to increase the salary and allowances of MLAs, Ministers, Speaker, Deputy Speaker and Leader of Opposition was introduced in the House. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in the Aam Aadmi Party government said that for the last 11 years, the MLAs of Delhi used to get a salary of Rs 12,000. Which was once increased to Rs 30,000. Now the salary has been increased to 90 thousand rupees.

दिल्ली विधानसभा का मॉनसून सत्र सोमवार से शुरू हुआ. इस दौरान सदन में विधायकों, मंत्रियों, स्पीकर, डिप्टी स्पीकर और नेता विपक्ष के वेतन-भत्ते को बढ़ाने का बिल पेश किया गया. आम आदमी पार्टी सरकार में डिप्टी सीएम मनीष सिसोदिया ने बताया कि पिछले करीब 11 साल से दिल्ली के विधायकों को 12,000 रुपए वेतन मिलता था. जिसे बढ़ाकर एक बार 30,000 रुपए किया गया था. अब वेतन को बढ़ाकर 90 हजार रुपए किया गया है.
