Barry Field, 59, was given the fine and penalty points after headcam footage from a cyclist in Bishops Tachbrook, Warwickshire, from March last year showed his near-miss.
He was found guilty of driving without due care and attention following a trial at Warwickshire Magistrates Court last week.
