A mum who gave birth to her baby some 10 weeks early has welcomed new tests that will help diagnose a potentially life-threatening condition in pregnant women. Georgie Withers, a trained paramedic, who suffered with pre-eclampsia believes the new testing, which is being recommended for routine use in the NHS by National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) will help spot the condition earlier.
