Sold six times and beaten over seven months. These were some of the experiences faced by two Malaysians who were duped into a job at a fraud syndicate in Cambodia.

The two managed to escape to Thailand while being transported to Myanmar from Cambodia.

While they were at the Thai border, they said that they followed five victims of the syndicate, who were Chinese and Taiwanese nationals, to flee to a crowded shopping mall.
