Chardham Yatra Vlog EP 02 "Gangotri"
Garhwali Vlog
Bhula Vibhu
Hello and I welcome you all to my Dailymotion channel "Bhula Vibhu"
So this is the second episode of my Chardham Yatra Vlog in which I'll be travelling to Gangotri Dham, the second dham of the Chardham Yatra.
Gangotri Dham is located in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand state. Gangotri Dham is also considered to be the place of origin of river Ganga (Bhagirathi) and mother Ganga is also seated here. In the Chardham Yatra, after Yamunotri, Gangotri Dham is visited. The Gangotri temple is believed to have been constructed here by Commander Amar Singh Thapa during the Garhwal rule in the 18th century. After which it was constructed by the King of Jaipur "Madho Singh II" in 20th century. In winter, as soon as the doors (kapat) are closed, the doli of Ganga Mata is brought to Mukhba village and on opening of the kapat, it is re-installed at Gangotri Dham.
Thankyou
