'The Baseball Player' and 'Blue Room' are big winners in this year's Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival.

During Sunday's awards night, 'The Baseball Player' bagged the best film award in the full-length category. It also received best screenplay, best editing and best actor for Tommy Alejandrino.

'Blue Room' meanwhile got the most number of awards with five. These are best director for Ma-an Asuncion-Dangalan, best production design, best cinematography, best supporting actor for Soliman Cruz and special Jury Award.
