Prime Minister Narendra Modi August 24 outlined the six fronts to improve healthcare services in India.
"India is working on six fronts to improve healthcare services: Promotion of preventive healthcare, opening small and modern hospitals in villages, opening medical colleges and big medical research institutes in cities to increase the number of doctors and paramedical staff across the country, to provide cheap medicines, cheap medical equipment to the patients and use of technology to reduce the difficulties faced by patients,” the PM said while addressing an event in Punjab’s Mohali.
