Single use plastics are set to be outlawed across the Northern Territory in three years, but some early efforts to try to ditch the materials in Darwin have been all but binned for now. An advocacy group is calling for more businesses to make the change as supply issues and costs see tonnes of plastic pollutants still heading to landfill.
