There were also instances of severe street flash flooding in South Trinidad this afternoon.

Parts of Debe, Penal, Barrackpore and San Francique were inundated with flood water trapping many who were making their way through these communities.

Over in Ste Madeleine, as the rain continued, five families were still struggling to cover their roofs which were blown off in what they called a “mini tornado” on Sunday.
