Cyrus Mistry, the former chairman of Tata Group, died on Sunday in a road accident in Maharashtra. The incident is said to have taken place near Mumbai and in the Palghar district.
Palghar SP Balasaheb Patil has confirmed the death of the businessman, and it has been said that he was returning from Gujarat's Ahmedabad. The accident occurred near the Gujarat-Maharashtra border.
Sources confirmed that the driver lost control of the vehicle and the car reportedly rammed into a divider near a Charoti on a bridge. Four people were present in the luxurious car and two have been confirmed dead. They died on the spot.
