Shyam Chaurasia, a man from India’s Uttar Pradesh state, came up with a creative idea to help women feel safer: a smart self-defence kit that includes a purse, sandals and earrings.  The “anti-rape sandals” and “smart purse gun” can fire blank shots to scare a potential attacker and attract attention from people nearby.
