Outgoing UK Prime Minister Johnson backed his successor Liz Truss and her future government as he departed his office for the last time.

Johnson left Downing Street on Tuesday (Sept 6) to head to Balmoral, Scotland to formally offer his resignation to Queen Elizabeth II.
