Dirty Blues Band was spawned in Riverside, California, from a convergence of members of a handful of notable outfits.
The sound is a solid Chicago-style boogie blues featuring harmonica and bottleneck guitar, through a mix of standards and some own compositions. The band lastef for two albums. After the disbanding Piazza formed Bacon Fat. Later, Piazza had a successful career with the Mighty Flyers and as solo artist.
