Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob this afternoon hit back at former premier Muhyiddin Yassin for alleging that he has failed in managing the country's economy.

Speaking to reporters in Putrajaya, Ismail said if his government fails to manage the country's economy, the fault would be with Muhyiddin and other Bersatu ministers too.

According to the prime minister, the task of handling Malaysia's economy is not his alone, but instead is shared by many including Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Economy) Mustapa Mohamed, who is from Bersatu.
