Kyushu-alsharqiya september 18: typhoon nanmadol swept through the main island of kyushu in the far south of japan on sunday, with the japan meteorological agency warning that the region was subjected to strong winds and "unprecedented" waves. The agency said that the hurricane may lead to record rainfall. It warned of the danger of river flooding and the occurrence of landslides. This is the fourteenth hurricane of this season, and classified by the hurricane warning center of the us navy as a giant hurricane.
