Adnan Syed was seen enjoying time at home after spending more than 20 years behind bars.
Adnan, 41, was released from prison after a judge overturned his 2000 conviction for the murder of Hae Min Lee.
He was seen leaving the court to cheers from supporters with further footage showing him getting food from a fridge with the caption "leftovers never tasted so good".
The footage was captured by attorney and advocate Rabia Chaudry, who spearheaded the campaign for Adnan's release.
Adnan, then aged 19, was convicted of the 1999 murder of his girlfriend Hae Min Lee in a park in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
Hae Min Lee was found buried in Leakin Park with her cause of death being ruled as manual strangulation.
The case garnered much attention in 2014 after the hit podcast Serial covered the incident in detail.
Episodes of the show have been downloaded more than 340 million times. The case has also spawned other works, including an HBO docuseries in 2019.
On September 19, a Maryland judge overturned the conviction after prosecutors claimed two other potential suspects were never disclosed.
Syed is currently serving home detention while the state decides whether to pursue a new trial or not.
