At just one month old, Yiuvany Aguilar’s twin daughters each began to show symptoms of what would eventually be diagnosed as Alstrom Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. Sadly, the girls passed away at ages 2 and 7, but their mother is finding resilience and hope, and honoring her daughters by spreading awareness.
