Federal Parliament is today hearing condolence speeches

Indigenous Australians Minister Linda Burney says the Queen's death has highlighted the fraught relationship between First Nations people and the monarchy. During a speech in Parliament, she acknowledged the life and service of the Queen as well as the pain colonisation has brought first nations people. Federal parliament is sitting for a full day of condolence speeches for Queen Elizabeth, before returning to ordinary business next week.
