SUPER TYPHOON KARDING BATTERS LUZON
SUPER Typhoon "Karding" (international name: Noru) pounded Luzon with strong winds and heavy rain that forced hundreds of people to flee their homes. The strongest storm to hit the Philippines this year made landfall in Burdeos town on the Polillo Islands, part of Quezon, at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. The typhoon is expected to leave the country Monday night.
