Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid floral tribute to former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during the state funeral at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo.

With tight security in place, a car carrying Abe's cremated remains arrived at the venue from his family home, for the first-of-its-kind ceremony of a former premier in decades.
