Entrepreneur and reality TV star Kim Kardashian agreed to settle regulatory allegations that she failed to disclose that she was being paid to promote EMAX tokens. “This case is a reminder that, when celebrities/influencers endorse investment apps, including crypto-asset securities, it doesn’t mean those investment products are right for all investors,” SEC Chairman Gary Gensler wrote Monday on Twitter ($TWTR@US). Kardashian will pay $1.26 million to settle the charges. She also agreed not to promo crypto assets for three years and will cooperate with an ongoing investigation.
