On 12th October, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah officiated the opening ceremony of the long-awaited Malaysian-owned Grade II listed Power Station and symbolically "turned the power" back on the building nearly 40 years after the lights were switched off.
