The suspect in the killing of broadcaster Percy Lapid is now under police custody.

As authorities get to the bottom of the case, they took the initiative to check on journalists to apparently ensure their safety amid the dangers of practicing their profession.

But some question the manner of how the police conduct their visits to members of the media.
