Birmingham headlines 7 November: Murder investigation launched after teenager passes away
A murder investigation has been launched after a 17 year old who was stabbed in Ladywood last week passed away on Friday. Akeem Bailey was found on Sunday 30th October with serious injuries. Zechariah Nelson aged 18 has been charged with his murder.

Birmingham City Council have expressed serious concern about the soaring recreational use of laughing gas and have called on the police to do more to crackdown on the harmful drug. They said they have limited powers to act, and that police should take the lead.
