The Opposition has threatened to take the Government all the way to the Privy Council over one part of the Finance Bill passed by the Senate.

That section is meant to expand the list of State entities required to furnish the Commissioner of Valuation with information.

The Opposition says it is a data privacy issue.

The Government says it isn't and the information would be limited to confirming who owns which property.
