On 8 November, American voters headed to the polls for the 2022 midterms. In an election where abortion and inflation were among the most important issues for voters, millions are waiting for the final results to be called to find out what the Senate and House of Representatives will look like moving forward. With a number of states already declaring, a picture is beginning to form for representation in the Senate. As it stands, Republicans currently have 47 seats, with the Democrats just behind on 46, with a number of races left to call.
