On November 9, Justice Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud was sworn in as the Chief Justice of India. Justice Chandrachud is the 50th Chief Justice of India. Justice DY Chandrachud was administered the oath of office by President Droupadi Murmu. The oath taking ceremony was held in the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Justice Chandrachud will serve as the head of the Supreme Court for two years. His term will end on November 10, 2024. Watch the video to know more.
