The Immigration Department is not expecting an increase in the traffic of travellers crossing from Singapore to the country nearing polling day for the 15th General Election (GE15) on Nov 19.
Immigration director-general Datuk Seri Khairul Dzaimee Daud said Malaysians in the island republic who are crossing over to vote are expected to start travelling home from Nov 16 before returning to Singapore in the evening on Nov 19.
