Tamil Nadu has been reeling under heavy rains. The India Meteorological Department has predicted rains in the state on November 14 as well. The weather department has predicted thunderstorms and lightning along with moderate rainfall. On November 13, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin inspected the waterlogged areas. Holiday was declared on November 14 for schools in the Mayiladuthurai district.
