Within hours of being closed, a large section of the Manzanilla Mayaro road collapsed.

The scenes on Thursday were similar to the devastation seen in that area back in 2014.

Reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh was in Manzanilla today where she met up the MPs for Mayaro and Manzanilla as well as corporation representatives from Mayaro and Sangre Grande, all assessing the damage.
