But it all changed in the second half when Ghana conceded a penalty & Ronaldo scored a record-breaking goal. Andre Ayew restored parity for the Black Stars but Portugal swiftly reacted & raced to a two-goal advantage through goals from Joao Felix & Rafael Leao.

Osman Bukari pulled one back & hit the SIUUU but there wasn't to be another equaliser on the night. Fernando Santos' side held on for the three points to go top of Group H
