Lyrics:

Only One Misstep

In the aisle he sat alone in a chair
He was dressed up in all his old flair
Someone whispers that he used to travel internationally
To see him playing in here is the height of irrationality

He had all of his buttons laid out
It was all a little embarrassing no doubt
I stood in line believing it would be very long
But I was standing next to him by the end of the song

Before I knew exactly what I was saying
I was asking him what was to him dismaying
Why was he here, what exactly came about
His answer came in a song and a shout

Yes at one time I stood just a little taller
I didn’t have to dance for every dollar
So when you feel like everything is going fine
Remember you’re only one misstep to the breadline
