Tensions between the police and prosecutors in the recently abandoned prosecution of former liberal staffer Bruce Lehrmann have been exposed in a letter, calling for an inquiry. Bruce Lehrmann maintains his innocence over the alleged rape of Brittany Higgins at parliament house and there have been no findings against him.
